Ro3
(Ramblings of organic origin)
I've been over this a bit before, on the characters page, mostly, but I'd really love to get into how all of this started. I don't think I'm gonna be able to remember nearly enough to explain how much they've taken control of me. I had a dream that I was at school and an alien came out of the brick (it is very important that it's brick) wall and hugged me every so often. It was comforting in a very very strange way. He had the head of a human, but the neck below was just an octopus. And that weirded me out a lot more that it probably should have. I decided to turn him into a weird kid. I named him Atlas. And Meg (who was originally known as Alex) developed later. Attached photo is the first art of him I think I ever made. Very bad. I was like 13 though so it's okay. Right? Right? 13 year-olds today have better art than me these days so I'm starting to doubt my abilities. Anyway- that was him. It was sad. The earliest dated thing I have of them is an email I sent to my friends trying to RP with them. Very in character for me. It was sent on January 23rd, 2017, meaning they must have been created late 2016 or early 2017. I'm not too sure, I'm still trying to track down art of them (that I know exists). Even then, I doubt we'll ever get an exact date. So for now, January 23rd is their birthday. Here is uh- what the image says. this is kinda long so, ye know. Also if you don't wanna rp then don't say anything and just mute this mk ppl were taking to long to reply to my question and I was impatient so heyhey rp. Join if you want, if you don't, well too bad you can just mute it and/or ignore it. And if no one wants to do it then you're all missing out bc I dunno anymore ;-; on with the Rules: •Dont be a drama queen. Bc, we all know it might happen, and I can make a new email with you discluded in it if you cause too much trouble. •Dont be OP, as in you're not the best one here. Or the smartest. Or the strongest. So chill. •If you don't like someone's bio, either tell them politely or if you really want to duel it out, then make an email with just them in it and figure it out there. •As for romance/dating/love interest, I could care less. I have a small love interest, you can have a major love interest. You can run away and have monkey butler children for all I care as long as it doesn't get to where the whole rp revolves around you. •For the theme song, don't just use a song that you like. Use a song that describes them/ EX: "It Took Me By Surprize" if the character pushed someone into doing something bad. •And finally, for the species. It's rather new, so if there is something you find I could add to them, feel free to tell me. Now, I know we're all extremely lazy and probably don't want to read about the alien species and just wing it, but the good Lord help me you better at least skim over it. 'Ere we go ;-; Organo (Or-gah-no) or Organi (Or-gah-nie: plural) are an extremely intelligent species that dwells in their home country they call Koradon (Core-uh-don).It's one land mass in the shape of a rough three-pointed-star. They don't know of any other land beyond their own, but they don't wonder, for they don't need to. They have everything they need in Koradon. As you can probably see from the pictures at the bottom of this email, Organus look like humans, except for the full colored eyes, frills on the side of their face and back, antenna things, and crazy tentacle arms. The frills on their back lay down when they are calm, content, or happy, and both by their face and back flair up when the feel threatened. They usually tuck neatly beneath their clothes, and will they rarely rip the cloth when they are extremely mad/frightened. The back frills start at the top of their head and Their eyes are rather odd, for when they are angered, their body temperature rises so sharply and they become so hot they the water in them literally becomes steam and escapes through their eyes. Along with the water-to-steam-eye deal, they need water to live. As in, be drenched in it every other day or so. Lucky for them, Koradon has heavy rains almost all the time. Now for their tentacles. Guys have three on each arm, while girls only have two. They cannot control them very well, and they usually wrap around whatever the Organo has their hand near. The spot where they split out on the shoulder isn't that pleasant to look at, and most are rather uncomfortable with the tentacles haveing wide range, so they usually wear long sleeved things to cover the majority of them. Another odd thing about them is that if they make contact with a living thing, the Organo can read what the other creature is feeling. This ability grows when they are on Earth (I'll talk about that later). Next on my ramble about what they look like is their antennas. Know one really know what they're for, but it's assumed that they control their body temp. (Ex: Like what I said about the steam coming from their eyes.) Lastly for the appearance part, is the coloring of Organi. There is really nothing genetic about it, and the color may become bolder or may fade as they grow, but It always stays one color. And everything un-human about them and their hair revolves around that one color. This is the last bit about them, I swear. One major thing about the difference in between Koradon (their home country in on their home planet, if you forgot) is the amount of gravity. It is about 50% weaker here on Earth than it is in Koradon, so when an Organo steps through the portal, their average strength, speed, and feeling-reading abilities are increased by 50% due to the lack of gravity on Earth. Their speed and strength seem like a super hero's, and their feeling-reading tentacles reading minds instead of emotions, along with one extra Earth-only ability. that is either Telekinesis (moving things with their mind) or Teleporting objects (Send a vase (example) from here to there). Tired are you now? Well, that's ok because were at the point where you learn about the plot. Wich is legit like three sentences. Plot: Of you chose to be an Organo- You have been given the ability to travel to a newly discovered planet called Earth through a teleportation/portal like science. The portal obeys your command, and it is your personal portal in between Earth and Koradon. If you chose to be a human-You find an Organo somewhere and you become friends/acquaintances/enemies. You're rather scared of them at first, and they feel the exact same way towards you/ ps- You can be just a human, just an Organo, or both. mkmk Im done now ;0; Ik that was a lot but heyhey rp-ing.... .D. I was 13 I was 13 I was 13 I was in 7th grade. It was middle school. God I just want to gag looking at that but that's- that's how they started out. And no one did it (clearly), but that how it went. Originally Atlas said goodbye to Meg forever and they split ways, always knowing of the other but totally unable to contact each other. And, in all honesty, I think that's the best possible ending for this story. I think it should have stopped there and it should have followed Meg knowing that there are others out there and that humanity is not alone. But I had a lot of trouble accepting that ending, and decided on a little AU where they didn't have to say goodbye and Meg came to Korad. It was... interesting. Back then it was normal, of course, but looking back it feels so foreign. Definitely nostalgic. Meg went to school with Atl'as and there wasn't a problem. Atl'as's mother was a biologist, his father was a scientist. There was nothing wrong with Meg being there at all. Pyron, who was, at the time, named Peyton, still existed. He was the third character to come into form. He had his own story surrounding admitting to his crush Scarlett (who would later evolve into Rexxah) and trying to avoid her older brother, Zach (AKA Zaj'ora). Turns out, though, Peyton and Zach had a lot more chemistry, and I decided to make them gay for each other (This early in the story, it was still pretty gendered). His mommy issues spawned from being gay. Unoriginal. And then I scrapped it and changed it into "I don't like him because you can't have kids" which still felt uber yuck. So I just made her into a bad person overall. And then I realized that I had no use or need for their father, so I made it that he got arrested pretty early on. Again because their mother sucks. I don't remember what order these next few things came in, but I changed their names from Atlas, Peyton, Zachary, Scarlett, and Gilligan into Atl'as, Pyron, Zaj'ora, Rexxah, and Gallian. They're still verry similar, but I decided that it didn't make sense for aliens to speak human languages. And if they didn't speak human languages, then it didn't make much sense for them to have human names. So I changed them. Atl'as and Pyron became royalty somehow. And I created Gallian and remade Rexxah. Everything was a blur. I know Gallian was made in late 2017-early 2018. I wanted to go into what would happen if the roles were reversed. She ended up in a sea world-esk park and was forced to preform. It was a fun story to play around with, but it never went anywhere. Dwellers happened before Deepies, and Deepies are a good year older than Freezers. Freezers came about because I saw Gal a certain way in my head and needed an explanation. They developed slowly, but I can't really pinpoint where so many of the developments started. Rhenomah started as a bedtime story Atl'as told Meg, with the soul image of Rhenomah leaning down to give someone a kiss on the top of a head. Like a blessing of sorts. I will say, though, that most of the development happened to a singular song. There are a few more songs that I would just. Listen on repeat while I thought about them. They all bring me mad nostalgia.
It got to the point where I'd feel like I knew their world better than my own. I know how to navigate Korad and I know the history and everything about it. It's familiar. And after spending all these years writing and drawing and living in it, I feel like I belong there more than I do here. Their world makes sense to me, and I turn to it as a comfort. It's gotten to the point where I have to force myself to think of characters as humans when I read a book because Organics just. Dominates my mind. Usually I can separate myself and my characters, I can live my day to day life without them, but this has permeated into everything I do. I feel like its apart of my identity now. I would not be who I am today without my fish. They're not everyone's cup of tea, and that okay. I don't expect too many people to like them. Never as much as I do, anyway. But I hope they can bring a little joy to someone's life. There's gotta be at least someone out there who'll love 'em.
